Kanker: Rahul Gandhi, who reached Kanker for campaigning during Chhattisgarh assembly elections, made a big attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party. The Congress leader said that when our party formed the government in 2018, the Bharatiya Janata Party had said that we will not fulfill our promises. We had made false promises only to win the elections. But today we have proved them wrong.

Rahul Gandhi said that the work which BJP people said could not be done, we did it in just two hours. The Congress leader said that as soon as our government was formed, it waived off farmers’ loans worth Rs 10,000 crore. Electricity bill halved. Under the Kisan Nyay Yojana, Rs 23 lakh crore were given to 26 lakh farmers and Rs 7 thousand were given to 5 lakh laborers every year.

Big promise made regarding tendu leaves and free education

While making a promise in this public meeting, Rahul Gandhi said that the bag of tendu leaves which was earlier priced at Rs 2,000, will now be bought for Rs 4,000. Along with this, he promised that if the Congress party comes to power again in the state, you will get free education in government schools from KG to PG. Our government will bear the entire expense for educating the children of Chhattisgarh.

BJP’s defeat is 100 percent certain – Bhupesh Baghel

Earlier, while addressing the public meeting, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that BJP has cheated this country and the state. But now the public has understood their intentions. These people are hopeful that they will form the government here, but they should not cook such imaginary pulao.
